It combines academic rigour and practical relevance. This combination inspires our research priorities and underpins our teaching.

Founded in 1965 as a premier education institution, the School of Marketing teaches all aspects of marketing:

  • Strategic and Corporate Marketing
  • Communications, Advertising and Promotions
  • Consumer and Professional Services

Research activity is encouraged through formal research courses, a Working Paper Series, research grants, a seminar program and conference support. The Centre for Applied Marketing is located within the School.

Academic staff in the School publish in a wide range of international journals. Through these publications we reach out to managers and business people, students enrolled on our programs, and the international academic community. This dual publication policy is a sign of our commitment to academic rigour and practical relevance, and also reflects the tremendous wealth of business and professional experience of our 25 academic staff.
